Porter will return to Missouri for his sophomore season, Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

The 6-foot-11 big man took part in the NBA combine recently and was able to gather knowledge from scouts about where he could land in the draft. Despite having the potential to be a mid-to-late first-round pick, Porter will elect to return to Missouri, where he'll have the opportunity to show improvement across the board with the hopes of landing in the lottery next season. As a freshman, Porter averaged 9.9 points, 6.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.7 blocks across 24.5 minutes, and he should see an uptick in workload and usage by coming back for his sophomore season.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter has declared for the 2018 NBA draft, but he will not hire an agent.

Porter averaged 9.9 points, 6.8 rebounds,1.7 blocks and 2.2 assists per game -- mostly off the bench -- for the Tigers in 2017-18. The 6-foot-11 forward left open the possibility of returning to Missouri next season by not signing an agent, but his mid-to-late first round grade likely leaves him leaning toward turning pro. The big man can contribute both inside and out at the next level and could slot in as a stretch four. However, he will need to add some muscle to work down low in the NBA.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter scored a career-high 24 points (9-10 FG, 4-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT) with seven rebounds and six assists in the win over Vanderbilt on Tuesday.

With big brother Michael warming up and watching, the 6-11 freshman put on a show. Porter was coming off a four-point performance before fouling out against Kentucky. He equaled his season high in assists. Missouri hosts Arkansas on Saturday. Porter had just five points in the Jan. 13 loss to the Razorbacks.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter tallied 17 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 6-9 FT), nine rebounds, and four assists in the overtime loss to Mississippi on Tuesday.

Porter has averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds in his last seven games. The 6-11 freshman looks like a future star if he stays in school. He reclassified before the season so is playing against older players. The Tigers head to Kentucky on Saturday. Porter had 13 points and eight rebounds in the Feb. 3 win over the WIldcats.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter put up a double-double - 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and 13 rebounds - with five blocks and four assists in the win over Mississippi on Tuesday.

Porter has scored in double digits in three straight games for the second time this season. He has hit five 3-pointers in the three-game splurge and has his third double-double of the season. The freshman has accrued four fouls in his last four games.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter scored 13 points (4-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-6 FT) and grabbed eight rebounds in the win over Kentucky on Saturday. He added three blocks and two assists.

Porter played well against a team with many of his classmates. He had his second 13-point game in a row and has scored in double digits for the second time this season. The freshman has accrued four fouls in his last three games, so he is somewhat limited by his over-aggressiveness.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter moved into the starting lineup and provided 15 points (4-7 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-8 FT) and 10 rebounds in the win over Georgia on Wednesday. He added three blocks.

Porter took Kevin Puryear's spot in the staring lineup and coach Cuonzo Martin looked very smart for doing so. The 6-11 freshman has averaged 14.3 points and 8.0 rebounds in his last three games to help the Tigers to a 2-1 conference record. Porter will meet fellow freshman Daniel Gafford as Missouri travels to Arkansas on Saturday.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Porter provided a career-high 19 points (5-9 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 4-4 FT) with seven rebounds and four blocks before fouling out in the win over South Carolina on Wednesday.

The 6-11 freshman had been quiet of late. He had only scored a combined 10 points in his previous three games and did not score in the loss to Illinois. He was very active and fouled out for the third time this season. For Missouri to survive the SEC, they will need more games like this from the younger Porter brother.
