RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker logged four receptions for 36 yards in the Eskimos' 16-15 win over the Argonauts on Friday.

After a stellar Week 1 effort when he posted eight catches for 176 yards and a touchdown, it's essentially been downhill for Walker. He does have three touchdowns overall in his first five games, but he hasn't topped 67 receiving yards since the opener. In the interim, D'haquille Williams continues to see an overwhelming amount of targets from Mike Reilly, and Walker hasn't been able to make many of his trademark plays downfield to make up for his drop in volume. However, the former Texas A & M Aggie seemingly has too much speed and rapport with Reilly to continue underwhelming for much longer, and perhaps the Week 6 bye will allow him to reincorporate into the offense.

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker supplied four receptions for 51 yards and a touchdown in the Eskimos' 20-17 loss to the Argonauts on Saturday.

Although D'haquille Williams and Kenny Stafford are both outshining him on the stat sheet overall, Walker clearly remains a pivotal component of the Eskimos' prolific passing attack. The 27-year-old was able to get into the end zone for the third time in four games to open the season when he hauled in a 24-yard scoring dart from Mike Reilly at the 2:21 mark of the third quarter, giving Edmonton a 13-12 lead at the time. Although both his reception and receiving yardage totals Saturday were season lows. Walker remains an appealing fantasy option heading into a Week 5 rematch against the Argonauts.

June 29, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker tallied five catches for 67 yards in the Eskimos' 41-22 win over the Lions on Friday.

Walker actually was a secondary figure in the passing attack to an extent Friday, certainly a rare occurrence. The 27-year-old checked in behind both D'haquille Williams and Kenny Stafford in receiving yards, but he still turned in a solid night overall despite failing to get into the end zone for the first time in three games. Walker has received plenty of Mike Reilly's attention in the early going, notching 19 receptions for 299 yards and two scores along the way. He'll look to boost his overall numbers in a Week 4 matchup against the Argonauts.

June 23, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught six passes for 56 yards and a touchdown in Friday's 38-21 defeat at the hands of the Tiger-Cats.

Walker has been a target monster thus far this season, as he has caught 14 passes in his first two games and scored in both of them. While the former Aggie wasn't as productive from a yardage standpoint in this one as his 176-yard Week 1, he was still effective as a possession receiver in key situations. The 26-year-old leads the CFL with 232 receiving yards through the first two weeks and will look to build on that lead in Week 3 when the Eskimos take on the Lions at home.

June 15, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker logged eight receptions for 176 yards and a touchdown and also lost four yards on his only rush attempt in the Eskimos' 33-30 win over the Blue Bombers on Thursday.

The speedster wasted no time making his presence felt, going up high to snare a Mike Reilly bomb in the first quarter and racing the remaining 49 yards for a 101-yard touchdown reception to start the season. Walker could well be primed for career-best numbers in 2018, considering that the Eskimos are without both Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman -- the latter who was on the opposite sideline Thursday. That leaves plenty of potential targets to be absorbed, and as Walker demonstrated in his last full CFL season in 2016 (109 receptions, 1,589 yards, 10 TD), he's aptly capable of exploiting such a situation. He'll look to follow up his game-high reception and yardage totals in a Week 2 battle against the Tiger-Cats.

May 28, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught one pass for 38 yards in Sunday's preseason opener against the Roughriders.

Walker will play a full season with the Roughriders in 2018 after spending a portion of last season attempting to earn a job in the NFL. While he finished with just 634 yards and two touchdowns last year, he did play in only eight regular-season games, and his average of 79 receiving yards per game was not far off from the 90 receiving yards per game he averaged in 30 games prior to last year.

January 12, 2018

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker re-signed with the Eskimos on Friday.

Walker gave the NFL a shot last year before ultimately re-joining the Eskimos in September. He was not as explosive in 2017 as he was the year before when he finished second in the CFL in all of receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns, but he was still plenty productive, and he has built a rapport with quarterback Mike Reilly. With a full offseason spent with the Eskimos, Walker will have a chance to bounce back in a big way in 2018.

November 13, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught six passes for 51 yards in Sunday's 39-32 win over the Blue Bombers in the Western Semi-Final.

He is very clearly the third option in the Edmonton passing attack behind Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman, but quarterback Mike Reilly still finds a way to keep Walker involved in the offense. Edmonton will need all their receivers in top form next Sunday as they head to Calgary to face Bo Levi Mitchell and the Stampeders to the right to represent the West in the Grey Cup.

October 28, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker posted four catches for 75 yards in Saturday's 29-20 win over the Stampeders.

Walker has at least 75 receiving yards in six of his seven games since returning from his NFL training camp stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's proven to be a highly effective complement to Brandon Zylstra, and his consistent production has led to a solid 45 receptions for 601 yards and two touchdowns in just seven contests. Walker will try to help the Eskimos clinch a West Division title when they take on the second-place Roughriders in Week 20.

October 22, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught six passes for 118 yards in Saturday's 35-29 overtime win over the Lions.

It was the 26-year-old's most productive game of the season, but he's been a key part of the Edmonton passing attack since returning to the CFL, catching at least six passes and topping 80 yards in five of six games. With Adarius Bowman apparently back in peak form and Brandon Zylstra still a factor, however, Walker could have a hard time maintaining that level of production over the final two games of the regular season.

October 15, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught eight passes for 82 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 30-27 win over the Argos.

His six-yard TD grab inside the final minute of the game proved to be the difference. Walker has now topped 80 receiving yards four times in five games since returning to Edmonton after failing to catch on in the NFL, and he should remain one of Mike Reilly's primary targets through the end of the regular season and into the playoffs.

October 9, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught four passes for 59 yards and added an 11-yard carry in Monday's 42-24 win over the Alouettes.

After catching at least seven passes in each of his first three games back in the CFL, Walker was a little less productive Monday but still made a contribution. Expect him to continue filling a secondary role in the Edmonton passing game over the final four games of the season.

October 1, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker posted seven receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown in Saturday's 28-19 loss to the Blue Bombers.

Walker gave the Eskimos a ray of hope with a 21-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter, but a subsequent pick-six interception by the Bombers' Chris Randle helped seal Edmonton's fate. The 26-year-old's score was his first in the three games since returning from a summer soujourn with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he's now compiled an impressive 22 catches over that span. He'll look to keep surging versus the Alouettes in Week 16.

September 16, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker logged eight receptions for 92 yards in Saturday's 34-26 loss to the Argonauts. He also brought in a two-point conversion pass.

Walker's return to the Eskimos just before Week 12 has been a significantly successful one, as he's now tallied 16 receptions for 185 yards over his first two games of 2017. The speedster has picked up right where he left off last season, when he racked up career highs in receptions (109), receiving yards (1,589) and touchdowns (10). While the presence of a plethora of talented pass catchers on the Eskimos roster -- a group that includes Brandon Zylstra, Adarius Bowman and D'haquille Williams in addition to Walker -- might cause his targets to fluctuate to an extent, the 26-year-old's obvious rapport with prolific quarterback Mike Reilly makes him a viable fantasy option each week. He'll look to continue building on his early efforts against the Blue Bombers following a Week 14 bye.

September 11, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled eight receptions for 93 yards in Saturday's 25-22 loss to the Stamps.

The speedster made a seamless return to the Eskimos' passing attack after a training camp and preseason stint with the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Walker appeared to be back in his element with Mike Reilly at the helm, serving as his second-most targeted wideout on the night. If Saturday is any indication, Walker may be in for a robust target share going forward, despite the presence of Brandon Zylstra and Adarius Bowman. He'll look to build in his successful 2017 debut versus the Argos in Week 13.

September 8, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker will start at receiver in Saturday's game against the Stampeders,

Walker was recently re-signed by the Eskimos after pursuing an NFL job with the Buccaneers. Walker ultimately failed to make the team's final roster, but he'll jump right back into the swing of things in his reunion with Edmonton after recording 1,589 yards receiving last season.

September 6, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker re-signed with the Eskimos on Wednesday.

The Eskimos released Walker during the offseason to let him pursue an NFL job with the Buccaneers, but he did not make the cut, and ultimately ends up back in the same spot he was at the end of the 2016 campaign. It's not clear if Walker will jump right into the Eskimos' starting lineup, but he should be plenty familiar with the offense and is coming off a season in which he racked up 1,589 receiving yards, so it wouldn't be a surprise if he did.

January 5, 2017

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker was released by the Eskimos on Thursday, Dave Campbell of Inside Sports reports.

Walker made an impressive two years for himself, totaling 109 receptions, 1,589 yards, and 10 touchdowns with the Eskimos. The wide receiver will receive a break with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, however there's a chance he will return to Edmonton if the NFL opportunity falls short.

November 20, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker hauled in six receptions for 96 yards in Sunday's 35-23 Eastern Finals loss to the Redblacks.

Although he didn't get into the end zone, Walker was nevertheless a key part of the Eskimos' impressive second-half comeback. He served as Mike Reilly's top target in terms of both receptions and yardage on the day, and will head into 2017 as one of the CFL's elite receivers. After a standout rookie campaign in 2015 that saw him post 89 receptions for 1,110 yards and six touchdowns, Walker came back to explode for 109 receptions, 1,589 yards and 10 scores over 18 games this past season. He figures to once again wreak havoc alongside slotback Adarius Bowman in the high-octane Eskimos attack in what will be his third pro campaign.

November 4, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker is on the depth chart for Saturday's game against the Argonauts, but he will not start and his playing time will likely be limited, Dave Campbell of 630 CHED reports.

Walker is coming off a two-touchdown outing in Week 19, but his snaps will be monitored in Week 20 with the Eskimos looking to keep their top players healthy with the postseason coming up. The Eskimos will also proceed with caution with fellow pass catcher Adarius Bowman on Saturday, so Brandon Zylstra could be the top option in the passing game in the Eskimos' regular season finale.

October 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled 79 yards and two touchdowns on seven receptions in Friday's 29-26 win over the Ti-Cats.

Walker has been somewhat subdued in the last past few weeks as compared to his early-season performances, but he stepped to the forefront in Friday's win. He scored from 22 and seven yards out, his first trips to the end zone since Week 15. The touchdowns also put him in double digits in that category for the season, and the seven receptions served as his second-highest total over the last six games. Despite the emergence of Brandon Zylstra as a third threat in the air attack, Walker remains a viable weapon for Mike Reilly.

October 23, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled only 46 yards on five receptions in Saturday's 32-25 loss to the Lions.

Walker has at least five receptions in each of the last seven games, but has failed to hit the 50-yard mark in two of those contests. Fellow receiver Brandon Zylstra has seemingly taken up some of Walker's targets over the last two weeks in particular, but the speedster still remains a vital part of the Eskimos' diverse passing attack. He'll undoubtedly serve as an important component of the game plan once again in the pivotal Week 19 tilt versus the Ti-Cats.

October 10, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker collected 96 yards on five catches in Monday's 40-20 win over the Als.

The Eskimos' speed merchant put together another solid effort, although first-year man Brandon Zylstra surprisingly outpaced him in both catches and yards. However, given the prolific nature of Edmonton's offense, there was plenty to go around in the blowout win. Walker is now just three catches short of his first 100-reception season and has already set a career-high in touchdown catches with eight.

October 1, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught eight passes for 120 yards and a touchdown in Friday's win over the Blue Bombers.

The Eskimos' passing game has been all but unstoppable this season, and as a consequence Walker's 1368 receiving yards is second in the CFL only to his own teammate Adarius Bowman. He'll look for his eighth game of the season with 100 or more yards in Montreal on Oct. 10.

September 11, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker amassed 164 yards and a touchdown that went for 104 of those yards on seven receptions in Saturday's 34-28 overtime loss to the Stamps.

Walker and QB Mike Reilly got the day started off right with a 104-yard scoring connection on the first offensive play for the Eskimos. He added 60 more yards on six additional receptions, and now has a career-high 1,124 yards receiving on the season, along with a high-water mark of seven touchdowns as well. Walker has scored a touchdown in four straight weeks, and he and Adarius Bowman are essentially the most lethal WR duo in the CFL as long as Mike Reilly is behind center.

September 6, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker caught five passes for 73 yards and a touchdown in Monday's loss to the Stampeders.

It was his sixth TD of the season and third in the last three games. Walker and Adarius Bowman continue to be one of the most dynamic receiving duos in the league, but it's Walker who's been stepping to the fore lately.

August 27, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled 50 yards and a touchdown on three receptions in Friday's 33-25 victory over the Roughriders.

With the Eskimos' passing attack more subdued than usual, both Walker and partner-in-crime Adarius Bowman saw less opportunity than they've grown accustomed to. However, Walker was able to convert one of his three catches into a 31-yard score on Edmonton's second possession, his second touchdown in as many weeks. Despite the success finding the end zone, however, the 25-year-old speedster does have only three receptions in three of his last four games, a trend he hopes to break when the Eskimos face the Stamps in what could be a high-scoring Week 11 affair.

August 12, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled a game-high 132 yards on 10 receptions in Thursday's 23-12 victory over the Als.

The 25-year-old was right back to his typically dominant self Thursday, leading all receivers in receptions and yardage on the night. Walker was looked to early and often by quarterback Mike Reilly on the way to his third-highest number of catches in a game this season. He also recorded a key 31-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter to extend a key late drive. The Texas A & M product now has 100-yard performances in four of his last five games, and will look to continue his stellar season when the Eskimos face off with the Argos in Week 9.

August 7, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker tallied only 26 yards on three receptions in Saturday's 23-20 loss to the Redblacks.

A week after an 11-catch, 148-yard effort versus the Blue Bombers, Walker put up season-low numbers across the board while being shut out of the end zone for the first time since Week 3 versus the Roughriders. Despite the struggles, the 25-year-old remains on pace to easily eclipse his first-year CFL totals of 89 receptions, 1,110 yards and six scores.

July 29, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled 148 yards and a touchdown on 11 catches in Thursday's 30-23 loss to the Blue Bombers.

The 25-year-old hauled in double-digit receptions for the second straight game, while also topping 100 yards for the fourth time in Edmonton's five contests. Walker has seemingly surpassed veteran Adarious Bowman as Mike Reilly's favorite target the last two weeks and looked a lot more sure-handed and crisp in his routes than his teammate on Thursday. After only five games, the Texas A & M product is almost halfway to his 89-catch total from last season with 42 receptions, and with 642 yards receiving, is less than 500 yards away from his 1,110 -yard figure from 2015. Walker is also serving as a more effective downfield threat to date in 2016, with a 15.3 YPC metric that is notably above last season's 12.5. He'll look to extend his stellar stretch of play in what could be a Week 7 shootout against the Redblacks.

July 24, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled 140 yards and a touchdown on 12 catches in Saturday's 37-31 loss to the Ti-Cats.

The 25-year-old seems to be getting better by the week, and has now posted 100-yard games in three of the Eskimos' first four contests. The 12 receptions were a season high for Walker, and he now is almost halfway to his 1,110 yard-figure from last season. With Edmonton's pass-happy offense, Reilly behind center and Adarius Bowman drawing attention opposite him, Walker figures to have plenty of opportunities to replicate Saturday's success as the season unfolds.

July 15, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker notched 154 yards and a touchdown on seven receptions in Thursday's 20-16 victory over the Blue Bombers.

The 25-year-old continues to partner with teammate Adarius Bowman as the deadliest 1-2 punch through the air in the CFL, equaling his season high in catches while setting a new personal yardage standard. Walker had been relatively quiet in the Week 3 victory over the Roughriders with just five catches for 51 yards, but got loose down the field on several occasions Thursday, including a spectacular 74-yard over-the-shoulder grab for the go-ahead touchdown on the first play of the fourth quarter. With 354 yards through the first three weeks, Walker looks primed to blow past the 1,110-yard total he managed in a breakout 2015.

June 26, 2016

RotoWire Fantasy Analysis

Walker totaled 149 yards on seven catches in Saturday's 45-37 overtime loss to the Redblacks.

After a breakout CFL rookie campaign in 2015 that saw him total 1,110 yards on 89 catches, Walker looks primed to surpass those totals if his Game 1 production is any indication. The speedy Texas A & M product looked outstanding Saturday, and would have likely had a touchdown on his 64-yard, fourth-quarter catch had he not stumbled after hauling in the pass. With Mike Reilly behind center and a year of seasoning under his belt, Walker figures to once again be one of the league's most prolific receivers in 2016
