Lynch (undisclosed) is not playing at Wednesday's morning practice, Danny Austin of the Calgary Sun reports.

It is unclear what ailment or injury is keeping Lynch from working out Wednesday, so it is currently unknown how serious the problem is or if he is at risk of missing their first preseason game on June 1 against the BC Lions. Lynch is coming off a season in which he only caught two passes for 18 yards.

Lynch was removed from Calgary's depth chart leading into Friday's game against Winnipeg.

Lynch won't be available this weekend for the regular-season finale as coach Dave Dickenson elected to go with just two wide receivers in DaVaris Daniels and Anthony Parker. Over the course of the year, Lynch has tallied two receptions for 18 yards.

Lynch signed a contract with the Calgary Stampeders on Thursday.

The second-round pick finished his college career on a high note with 77 receptions for 1,061 yards and five touchdowns in his final 14 games at the University of Saskatchewan. The 22-year-old will likely still not see much time on the field as there are five other receivers ahead of him in the depth chart, but he'll have at the very least, a chance to prove himself in the upcoming season.
