Felipe has been suspended for two years by the USADA due to a failed drug test, Damon Martin of reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Felipe was flagged for the violation in late September, which cost the 22-year-old his UFC debut against Christian Colombo on Oct. 28, but now that appears to be the least of his concerns. The official word is that Felipe tested positive for Stanozolol, which is a synthetic anabolic-androgenic steroid. He will be out of the arena for quite some time since his two-year period of ineligibility began in mid-September, so he will have to wait to compete again until September of 2019.
Felipe has been flagged for a USADA violation and will no longer make his UFC debut against Christian Colombo at UFC Sao Paulo on Oct. 28, Marc Raimondi of reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Felipe recorded a failed out-of-competition sample for a drug test collected in July, and it will ultimately cost him his first opportunity with the UFC. It's unlikely he has the resources to fight this ruling at just 22 years old and with eight fights under his belt, so a suspension is likely forthcoming, barring an unexpected turn of events. Nonetheless, the young Brazilian heavyweight will likely see another opportunity down the road. A prospect with his propensity to finish fights surely has a place with a larger promotion.
Felipe will face Christian Colombo in a heavyweight contest at UFC Fight Night 119 on October 28 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Guilherme Cruz of reports.

Fantasy Analysis

Felipe (8-0) hasn't lost since going professional in 2014. "Boi" signed with the UFC after gaining seven wins, six of which were first-round TKOs. The 22-year-old will be a challenge for Colombo, who has yet to claim a UFC victory.
