Packalen lost to Marc Diakiese via KO (Punch) at 0:30 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Fantasy Analysis

Packalen did not really get a chance to show anything in this fight. Diakiese controlled the distance from the start. He landed with kicks on the outside, before flooring Packalen with a nasty punch. Packalen signed with the UFC in 2015 with an undefeated record. However, he has gone only 1-2 in the Octagon with his only win coming over Thibault Gouti last February. This fight might be the end of his run in the promotion.
Packalen defeated Thibault Gouti via submission (rear-naked choke) at 0:24 of Round 1 at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in London.

Fantasy Analysis

Packalen appeared out of shape when he made his UFC debut on nine days notice last July, but he rebounded in a big way on Saturday. He had the presence of mind to take the back of Gouti after dropping him with a huge shot, something that was nice to see from a relatively inexperienced fighter. Packalen was probably looking at a release if he lost to Gouti.
Packalen lost to Mickael Lebout via unanimous decision (28-29, 28-29, 27-30) at UFC Fight Night on Saturday in Glasgow, Scotland.

Fantasy Analysis

Packalen took this fight on nine days notice and it was certainly a factor by the time it was over. Packalen looked absolutely exhausted and he spent the majority of the fight flopping around on the mat like a fish after several lazy, failed takedown attempts. A former hockey player, Packalen was in just his eighth professional bout despite already being 28-years old.
